I don’t know what to do when it comes to my marriage. Let me start from the beginning…

About a year and a half ago, I went onto my (then) boyfriend’s computer to check my bank account. I started typing ‘Bank of America’ into the browser, but as soon as I entered ‘ba’, a bunch of history sites for backpage.com popped up. I didn’t know what it was, but I also saw ‘escorts’ in the web address. I then looked at his history and saw that he looked these pages up. When I confronted him about it, he said he was just curious. He said he had read they do a lot of sting operations, and he was just curious to see if the profiles really were fake. “I got engaged and now I don’t want to kiss him”

In late August I got engaged to my boyfriend of a year and a half. He is twelve years older than me. I’m 25 and he is 37. He is kind, loving, funny and hard-working. Honestly, everything was great until we got engaged. I don’t know why but everything changed for me then.

On the day he proposed, he’d done it when I was struggling to stay afloat in a new job and without my family there. He knew I’d always wanted my family there. I also cried a lot that night before it happened because I was so unhappy with my job. I said yes because I loved him. I’d told him before that if he’d ask I’d say yes. “My husband was texting another woman”

My husband and I have been together for 10 years ( 5 years married.)  For the most part we are happy and we have 2 handsome boys. Sunday I was going through his phone and he had this weird flirtatious conversation with a male friend I didn’t know he was talking to. Long story short, it was actually a female ( he put it under a male name so I wouldn’t notice) and they work together.

Looking through phone records they don’t text each other everyday, but he has erased all their messages. He swears that all the conversations before have been innocent and they were only joking in the messages I saw, and that he doesn’t have feelings for this girl and I have nothing to worry about. He said the only reason he changed the name and erased the messages was because he didn’t want me to get mad. He says he’s really sorry and didn’t mean to hurt me and he swears there is nothing going on. Continue reading →

“Is it cheating if I want to kiss another woman?”

Is it cheating if you’re in a normal heterosexual relationship (I’m a woman) and want to kiss another woman? I have these urges!! I know it’s due to my past. I didn’t have a pretty childhood, and hence, now I have tendencies towards woman.

But is it really cheating if you’ve married the man of your life, and he is absolutely incredible, but kissing another woman and daybed flirting turn you on? Is it just from my shorty serial abuse childhood?

Please help me before I make a mistake!

Should I be mad about this? I caught my wife cheating on me with … ME.

My wife is (EXTREMELY, like ready to divorce me) mad at me, because (ironically) she thinks I cheated on her. Long story involving a lady who was a friend of mine (never even kissed her, actually) and a years-old email message from my friend that that I’d totally forgotten about. Until my wife (snooping through my old email messages) went batsh*t crazy over it, that is.

So my wife decides she’s going to solve all of her problems by spending THE RENT MONEY to go out alone with her “gay” friend (I’ll call him Mike) and get plastered.

She calls me at 1 AM to come get her. She’d spent about $150 of the rent money, I assume on drinks for the two of them. But when I found them, she was buying takeout food for him. Could have killed them both, but there was a young child home (asleep), so I was mainly concerned with getting my drunk wife home fast. Continue reading →

“My wife’s friends are tearing apart our marriage”

My wife has a best friend who gave her advice during a difficult time in our marriage. I did all I could to patch things up and become the man my wife wants me to be, but she continued to listen to the friend. She dogged me out, asking why I was calling her on Thanksgiving while deployed.

Upon returning, I had a suspicion that something was going on, so I took her phone and found text messages between my wife and her friend, dogging me out. I came home one day and found prepaid cards lying around, and she said she was throwing them away from work, but I later found a phone card in a drawer.

Later, I caught my wife lying three times about having a prepaid phone which I had discovered. I told her to cut off the relationship with the friend, because it’s destroying our marriage and because she consistency lies to me. I am honest, open, and trying to love my wife through arguments and disagreements we have. I see my mistakes of the past (no infidelity) and try to work out things. Continue reading →

“He keeps wanting to wait on getting married”

My boyfriend and I have been together going on three years. We started living together after knowing each other for eight months and after officially dating for only one month. We have a one-year-old daughter and recently (two weeks ago) found out that we are expecting our second child. I love him and from the time I met him have been pretty deeply in love. We live well together, but we do obviously have our share of arguments.

We had previously talked about being married and he led me to believe that we were on the same page. To the point that we had engagement rings for one another. We later had some issues come up involving him talking to other people and we stopped wearing our rings. Now that we are supposed to be going to counseling and working on things, he sees marriage for him in another 5-6 years.

I personally don’t think it takes that long to decide if you want someone. Especially considering our circumstances — we live together, sleep together, share all of our finances, and have children. I take care of our home, child, and I cater to him all that I can. He didn’t decide to wait on anything else, so why does he want to wait on marriage? Continue reading →

“My husband has an obsessed fanboy”

When I met my now-husband two years ago, he had a friend whom he had met while dating his ex (her cousin). Sweet guy. Young and naive. They race cars and karts, and they enjoy working on them together.

Anyway, fast-forward to my wedding and our new marriage. We have a bbq every week, and this guy comes along and brings nothing. No drinks or meat. When I spoke to my husband, he said no, that John helps him a lot when it comes to racing and building, so he doesn’t mind.

I mind. I think this boy is a complete sponge.

Then to compound on that, I have not had one week without this guy coming over a minimum of twice a week. Sometimes it goes up to 4-5 times!

I’ve complained to my husband, and he has just told John that we are a new marriage and he must give us space, not that he must start contributing and stop sponging. Continue reading →

“I’ve fallen in love with a woman my wife and I had a threesome with”

To start things I am married and madly in love with my wife. I understand that a lot of people will not understand the things I write here but it is the situation I am in.

My wife and I have a relationship with another couple that is far beyond traditional. The four of us often get together and things get sexual. So the three of us had sex. Fantasy truly fulfilled.

My husband is unaffectionate with me. Consequently every male person that shows me any affection I tend to develop feelings for. Usually I just avoid them until my feelings subside, but this time it’s my boss. I’m also having delusions that he has feelings for me. He is much younger and the situation is impossible. I am a little lost and would appreciate any advice.
