If you’ve been around these parts, then you probably noticed that LemonVibe just underwent a substantial facelift. That’s because I’ve made some changes to the site, based on feedback that I’ve received:
- Blurbs and tiffs will now be reviewed and edited before publishing. To be blunt, the grammar and spelling we’ve encountered on countless burbs has been atrocious, and people were having a hard time understanding many of the questions. Hopefully now, this won’t be a problem.
- Requiring a login to comment turned out to be a substantial barrier to participation. For this reason, you can now post comments without logging in. The consequence of this change, unfortunately, is the loss of our rating system. For those of you who spent years amassing a respectable rating on LemonVibe, I do apologize. It was a tough decision, but in the end, I realized that a rating system is pointless if no one comments in the first place.
- The site is now hosted on WordPress.com. This may or may not make you giddy.
And that’s pretty much it. Over the past few years now, we’ve had a steady increase in blurbs, but a noticeable decline in commenters. I’m hoping these changes will encourage people to participate once again.
See you in the blurbs and tiffs!
-Dennis
