“I forgave my boyfriend for cheating on me”

My boyfriend cheated on me and ever since that I’ve had a weird relationship with him. I forgave him, and we are talking again, and I am in love with him, but I don’t how if he still is in love with me.

He talks to me like I’m his girlfriend, but doesn’t give me as much attention. He’ll also make dumb mistakes and I keep forgiving him, but now I’m starting to question if he is just using me for sexual purposes. I don’t know if I should confront him about it because we are on good terms and I don’t want to randomly bring it up, so I am not sure what to do.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years now. He never wants to spend time with me, but won’t admit it. There’s always an excuse. Every time we eventually make plans for just the two of us, he always invites his friends or ends up saying he’s too tired to do anything or just doesn’t want to go out.

It makes me feel unwanted and sometimes he just doesn’t like the idea of going out, but when it comes to his friends, anything is a good idea, and he doesn’t want me to tag along. I trust him with his friends, but I just don’t understand why spending time with me is a big deal. Even if it is just a quiet night at home with movies he just wants to sleep. I know I haven’t done anything wrong, and there is nothing in his life that is currently stressing him out for him to act differently. I know he still loves me but he just won’t give me the time I deserve to actually keep believing that he does!

“My boyfriend won’t let me meet his parents”

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year now. In that time I have let him into every detail of my life, but he has been private about his own. We have quite a big age difference — I’m 19, he’s 29, and that’s fine — but sometimes it feels like I’m the more mature one. He won’t let me meet his parents, he doesn’t let me even hold his phone even when he’s driving, he’s doing up his house to rent it and won’t let me go and even see that.

His dad is in poor health, so he sleeps over at his house every Saturday night, then sneaks out at about 4 am like a teenage girl! I understand his dad is ill but it’s weird — he’s nearly 30 for christ’s sake! I don’t understand what else I can do. I thought meeting the parents etc was a normal part of relationships? “My boyfriend and I have terrible luck”

I’m been in this LDR for over half a decade now, but my boyfriend and I seems to have absolutely terrible luck. He’s had to have a number of surgeries over the past years, one to fix a problem, and then the rest to try to fix what was a botched surgery. He’s tried to sue the doctor, but that’s not going very well because he ends up never hearing back.

He’s spent the majority of the last 4 years still trying to heal up, and since he can’t lift anything or even bend down, or even sit for prolonged periods of time, he’s unable to work. I am trying to do my best to support him emotionally as best I can, but I find it difficult as, on top of all of this, both of us suffer from depression and anxiety, and neither of us have proper support systems, as the people in both our environments are rather toxic, and are unwilling to be there for us as we are for them, despite all that’s going on. I have feelings for my boyfriend’s best friend. Yes, it sounds like every cheesy movie ever, but it happened to me. I have been with my boyfriend for 7 years. While we have had our good times, the majority has been miserable. I suffered from depression during the relationship and lost sight of who I was.

Now, I have gotten treatment for my depression and am feeling happier, but I am still unsure about the relationship. I always try to listen to my boyfriend’s wants and needs, while I feel that he does not return the favor. I have discussed this with him many times and only recently have seen results. “My ex-boyfriend has no boundaries with the mother of his child”

My ex boyfriend and I are trying to work things out. His relationship with the mother of his child has been a problem with me because I feel they have no boundaries. For example, while we were in a relationship she would send him sexually charged comments. He would tell me she’s just joking but I don’t find it funny and he won’t correct it. Now today while I was at his house, her car broke down on her way to drop off their kids. She ended up having to stay the night. At 12 o’clock in the morning, he is alone in the guest room with her for almost an hour. It upset me and I told him that but he didn’t think it was a big deal. Am I overreacting?

I think my boyfriend is gay? Have been with him for 6 months and tried to have sex, but he could not keep it up. And then he asked me to Google the bus timetable, and I found gay porn on his phone, then Grindr, where he download it, then took it off his phone, then downloaded it again. But I did not tell him. He wants to move in together. But he has not tried to have sex again since. When he was younger, he thought he was gay, but said he found out he like women. What do I do?

I have been dating my boyfriend for over 4 years. He’s a great guy and I am very lucky to have him. I feel safe in our relationship and feel that he is faithful.

Lately one of his single guy best friends has made me angry. A few weeks ago my boyfriend had lied about going to a sleazy bar with him. I wouldn’t have been upset if he hadn’t lied about going but found it disrespectful that he lied. This past weekend I was out of town for a girls spa weekend. I came home excited to see my boyfriend and gave him all the details. I later find out that his friend invited a girl that I’ve never met before to sleep over at my house. He claims that his friend is not with this girl but that makes me wonder that if they are not together, why she had to join boys night. Continue reading →

“My boyfriend got drunk and pissed in our son’s crib”

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years now. We have a one-and-a-half year old and a two week old.

Over the years, after he gets drunk, he sometimes will get up in the middle of the night, walk somewhere, and just piss. Once, he pulled his drawer out and pissed in it. Another time, he just sat at the side of the bed and pissed. It’s as if he’s sleep walking though as I’ve tried waking him up, and he just yells at me that he’s pissing, and I’m rude for trying to stop him. It doesn’t happen too often but it seems to be happening more often now. It uses to be only when he drank hard liquor but now it’s beer as well, it just depends on how much he drinks I guess.

He never remembers doing it in the morning, and always says he will clean it up but I’m always the one to clean up after him and I’m sick of it. Tonight is really it for me. I’m done with it, but I just don’t know what to do about it. Continue reading →

“My boyfriend doesn’t think I’m pretty”

My boyfriend and I have been together for three months (long distance), and he doesn’t care about looks at all. When I asked him if he thought I was pretty he said I was “normal.”

I got really upset. I honestly wanted him to say I was pretty, and still have no idea if he finds me attractive. I know he does care a lot for me and I care for him, but I’ve been upset ever since he said it.
