“My boyfriend keeps checking out other girls”

My boyfriend is a great boyfriend in every way except one (or it could be that it’s my problem, which is why I’m interested in other opinions).

So I feel he loves me and tells me nice things and I’m not insecure about how I look, it’s just sometimes when we are out together I notice him looking over my shoulder to watch someone else. I find it quite rude. I make a point about it and he will feel embarrassed. Usually in the moment he will say things like no I wasn’t checking her out I recognise her…or something else. The point is it makes me snap out of happy mood and jump into defense.

It happened last night while we were with friends drinking….but this time instead of explaining in a nice way he kind of just pushed it under the rug. I realised as we were both drinking with friends to just drop it but then the next day I tried to address it in a calm and non-drunk way that I don’t like it and find it disrespectful and he went nuts.

“My boyfriend has a secret relationship with another girl”

So, I was with this guy for five months, and everything was essentially perfect until just the other day, when another girl texted me saying that she was his girlfriend of five months. We compared notes and he met both of us with in a week of each other (asshole!).

I never pushed to be exclusive with him because I myself finally left a five-year relationship that was very abusive just a few months just before meeting him. Feelings are hard, and I was still feeling damaged, but he caught me off guard. He was so nice and presented himself as everything I ever wanted in a man, and he was just so damn nice and good to me.

He has two kids and is a great part-time dad — always there for his kids (I myself am a single mom), and he takes care of his sick, elderly mother. He has a good job, works really hard, and is handsome (fuck, is he hot! Ugh!). He was everything my ex wasn’t. He was perfect. 😦 Continue reading

“My ex is getting married, and I’m afraid of losing him”

My ex-boyfriend from five years ago is now engaged to a girl he has been with since not long after we split. We broke up because I was young and stupid, but for their entire relationship, he has messaged me every day, every morning, and every night.

He still tries to flirt with me, talks to me about everything, and tries to make time to see me. He is supposed to be getting married in July to his fiancée, who doesn’t like me at all (long story which happened before my ex and I even dated).

“I’m dating a girl, but think I’m falling in love with a guy”

First off, I’m bi. I’ve dated men before, but I’m in my first same-sex relationship with someone whom I was good friends with.

It took a while for her parents to come to terms with it, as they thought she might be making a mistake. I don’t want to prove her parents right, but I also don’t want to date her anymore. I feel scared to tell her because she still really likes me. We haven’t been dating that long and nearly all our friends are mutual. It doesn’t help that everyone keeps saying how much they ‘ship’ us.

“My boyfriend hasn’t cheated, but I can’t stop checking his phone”

I have been with my boyfriend for three-and-a-half years now. He is beyond perfect for me. He’s always there, he’s so romantic, and I know he loves me. I’m his first girlfriend.

I have been cheated on and hurt in the past, and I still have my guard up, but my boyfriend doesn’t even show interest in other girls, and always makes me feel special and tells me how pretty I am, and it does make me feel amazing. But whenever I see him talk to someone else or add someone on Facebook, I get extremely jealous, and it always turns into an argument!

“He regrets cheating, but I’m having a hard time forgiving him”

My fiancé and I have been together for nearly four years. He has quite a promiscuous past, but I saw past that and gave him a chance. When our baby was eight weeks old, he went to France for a trip he won through work.

A woman on the trip started flirting heavily with him while they were both drunk on the plane. He refused her advances. On the first night there, he got insanely drunk, and she came on strong. He cheated on the rooftop of the hotel with her.

“My boyfriend is having doubts about our relationship because of what our friends told him”

Hi, my guy and I have been in a relationship for the past nine years. In the past three to four months,we’ve been facing difficulties due to our common friends, as they’ve been telling him things about me, and he’s really hurt.

He really wants to get back together, but is confused and hurt, and is having second thoughts about our relationship. Please help us get back together asap!

“I’m sleeping with my roommate to pay my rent”

I’ve been with this guy for a few years. We’ve been through hell together and have both learned a lot from our relationship and each other. But my financial situation put me in a really tough spot about two years ago. I ran out of options. I needed to get away from my toxic family, and my boyfriend had been out of state for months “on vacation” without me.

I ended up living in a pop-up trailer. I was pissed off. Eventually, we broke up. I thought it would be over for good and decided to make sure I never went back by moving out of state.

“My ex has a new girlfriend, but I’m still sleeping with him”

I definitely need advice on this confusing relationship I’m in. So I was with my boyfriend for a year-and-a-half. We broke up almost two months ago. Right away, he started dating a way older woman (I’m 32, and he’s 35). She’s 58, with three kids and is divorced.

Right away, he moved in with her and her kids. From the first week he and I met, we both fell hard for each other. We both have children from previous relationships, but we both wanted a baby together, so we got pregnant. I was seven-and-a-half months pregnant when I went into labor and delivered our daughter, who passed away.

“Should I confront my partner about all the prostitutes he’s been visiting?”

I don’t know where to begin. I have been with my partner for almost two years. We live together, and I love him to bits.

He works away a lot. He is a tradesman and gets called all over the country to do work, so it takes its toll when he is gone for two or three weeks at a time, and then is only home for a few days before he is off again.

We have been very lucky in that he has had a lot of work near home for the past two months, so he has been home, and it’s been good to see him after I come home from work, and to be able to spend weekends together.
