Hey everyone, I’m kind of nervous writing this . It’s actually my first time doing anything like this. I really needed somewhere to vent, to let out some frustration.

My husband and I have been together 14 years. Some wonderful and some horrible. I was only 17 when we first met, and nothing meant anything to me, but him. Now we have a beautiful family and we both work full time , opposite shifts. “An old flame blew me off, now he’s back in my life”

When I was younger I had a relationship with someone who I was pretty deeply into. While I know it was never anything extremely serious at the time, I held out hope that it would turn into something more.

Back then I worked at a bar and my friend, we’ll call him Manny, came in one night to hang out while I worked, so I started a tab for him so he could have a couple drinks and chill. I came by to check on Manny after a while and he mentioned that he was getting tired and was thinking about heading home in a bit. I offered to come by when I got off of work and he assured me that he would probably be asleep by then so it might not be a good idea, and then he got up, excused himself and went to the restroom. “My ex-husband lives with us and I want him”

This is insane. 23 years ago, I got pregnant with a child, and the father was 9 years older than me. He was a felon just released on parole, and I was a 16 year old in a catholic school. I truly loved him and married him at 18.

He did go back to prison and for the next 10 years, he was in and out of prison.  I continued on with life, and got married to another man, and had another child. Since then, I divorced him, and moved back home. Continue reading →

“He says we’re married, but we’re not”

I have been in my relationship for almost 5 years. We have 2 daughters, 2 and 3. We have been engaged for almost 3 years. He cancelled the venue & plans for the wedding about 4 months after he proposed. Said that we needed to work on our relationship before we made it legal, he has been married once before, so he is reserved.

Now, he says we are already married, that when we consummated, we were married. He has very different points of view. We have never taken vows or are legally married, but he insists that we are. He is constantly sharing his ideas with me, points of view on a variety of subjects but when I don’t agree, he says I am wrong and says I should think as he thinks.

On the surface, we are great together, we joke & laugh regularly & I love the family we have together. But any time we speak about important subjects like core values and beliefs, we disagree every time. And he says I am wrong, that it’s all me. That I need to take a look at myself and make some changes. But he isn’t willing to see my point of view, I’m just wrong. I asked if he would be willing to go to counseling with me, he refused.

I feel exhausted all the time. I am filled with anxiety at every moment, and I always have this knot in my stomach. He said to me a couple weeks ago, “it’s your job to make my dick hard, not my life”. That was a slap in the face & I haven’t been the same since, but he saw NO WRONG in it, said I perceived it wrong. I don’t know what to think anymore. I just wanted to share. I’m so lost.

My husband had a really bad work accident almost a year ago, it’s put a lot of strain on our marriage, and he’s also going through depression and anger issues. He’s never laid a hand on me till recently.

I’m ok but I do have some bruises and everyone keeps telling me to leave him, but I do love him and we have a son together, and I can’t exactly just up and leave. I have no job or car or anything, everything is in his name . I don’t fear my safety or for my son’s safety and he did agree to get some help. But has anyone else gone through this , did your relationship work out? Did it end up getting physical again?

I am a married mom of a 17 month old. My husband is 22 years older than me. (Yes, judge if you want. *rolls eyes)  In the beginning of our relationship, he lied about his past. I had to figure out his back story by myself.

Then he finally admitted everything. Like the fact that he owes child support arrears. I am the only one who works. I took out $100 so him and my son could eat for the week. Come to find out, he gradually took out the only other $100 left in the account. He claims he spent it just on food. But I know it’s a lie. Anyway, the whole situation is a long story. But I am tired if being married to him. I just don’t know where to turn to. I have no family or friends. I’m scared to go to a shelter because I don’t trust anyone watching my child. Any suggestions?

I need some advice! My boyfriend and I have been together a total of almost a year and a half and just a few months ago he had “out of no where” broke up with me for about a month . It all started when his phone lit up and he received a text from a girl talking about what each of them like to do (like go hiking). They seemed to be talking about things in order to get to know each other.

I am all about having friends so I have never really went too far into anything , but this struck me as a little odd, so I confronted him and asked him to see the texts and he promptly said “no”, put his phone away and turned it around on me and exclaimed that if I trusted him I wouldn’t be asking him about it. “My husband and I are constantly arguing”

My husband and I of barely 2 years have been having several arguments lately. I know people say the first 2 years are hell but I don’t think I’ve ever felt this low in my life before. My husband is one of the most honest people I know, so when he told me that my weight was becoming a problem for health reasons, because my acid reflux was getting bad throughout the day and at night, I changed my lifestyle and eating habits and all was well.
