I need help. I feel so sick just typing this, I’m 20 years old, I’m a female. I met my current boyfriend on my very first day of college, a year and a half ago and we fell so in love. Everything was absolutely perfect (almost too perfect and I felt it was too good to be true.)
Just 2 months ago he admitted he kissed a girl on a night out (he doesn’t remember and didn’t realize it happened until his friend told him the next day, so he was seriously intoxicated. Obviously, he said it was a mistake, blah blah blah. I can’t get over it and feel so upset. He also admitted he flirted with a girl 6 months ago at a festival he went to (also drunk.)
Do I get rid of him or forgive and forget, which seems impossible at the minute?
“To move or not to move?”
My husband and I are having a very hard time making a decision. We need to decide within a month or two if we should move to Vegas or stay in San Diego. He is in the Navy and I’m a stay at home mom, we have two kids, 2 and 5.
He is about to get out of the military, and we’re not sure if we should stay here (SD) or move home (Vegas). We are very happy in SD, we love the weather, area, water, parks, schools, etc. On the other hand, if we move home there are advantages too; bigger house with yard we can afford, family and friends, babysitters. “I think my ex is hoping we will get back together”
I was born with two spinal conditions called Scoliosis and Spina Bifida Occulta. I broke up with my boyfriend last July. We were together over 4 years. He has Cerebral Palsy and learning difficulties. He didn’t treat me right sometimes (shouting at me and only thinking about himself) and I felt like I was making most of the effort in the relationship, and it felt like I was looking after him.
I recently went to bingo because I was bored of staying in and he was there. I sat with him and told him I just wanted to be friends and I didn’t want to lead him on.
He phoned me today and I answered, which I shouldn’t have done and I told him I was going to bingo tomorrow. I told him that because I feel sorry for him, and he doesn’t have much in his life apart from bingo.
Should I go to bingo tomorrow? Part of me misses him, but I don’t want to be in a relationship with him, and I think he is hoping we will get back together because he has put a photo of when we were at school together on Facebook. I blocked him on Facebook before but he kept phoning me and sent me an email saying why did I block him? Is it best for me to block him on Facebook for good? Is that mean? I just think he is hoping we will get back together. I have told him a few times I just want to be friends.
“My boyfriend all of a sudden wants to take our only car to work”
My boyfriend and I have one car. Right now he is working and I am not. He works real crazy hours (sometimes 20 hour days) so he says he doesn’t want me to work. I have been looking for a job anyway though.
Usually I take him to work, since it’s only 15 minutes down the road. For a while he was saying he wanted me to take him so I wasn’t stranded at home all day. Today we got in a huge fight. I drove him to work, we kissed, I went home, and everything was fine. Then about 2 hours later, he called me saying he should be driving to work and that all my lazy ass does is sit at home. (Which is completely incorrect, I clean, wash his clothes, cook, grocery shop, pay all the bills, and run all the errands.)
I got real upset and asked where this was coming from. He said he’s tired of seeing everyone at work drive up in their cars and trucks, but I have to drop him off. My thing is though, why all of a sudden, is he cussing me out over that? Why can’t he just say I want to drive to work today? He never has and it has become a habit, so it’s just how it’s been lately. I haven’t even thought anything of it. I don’t know what to do, please someone give me some advice.

My boyfriend and I work in the sport supplement industry where we are surrounded by overly sexy women with big fake boobs and butts. We are both very fit and I never really felt unattractive before, until I found out how much he loves big boobs and looking at these women.
I’ve been called hot and sexy…but suddenly I feel inadequate. I’m very fit so my chest is pretty flat and my butt is just average I guess. I feel undesirable because he is constantly looking at these girls for their physical attributes. Sure, I know he loves me and finds me attractive. But I know he would be more attracted if I had these attributes he desires. What the hell do I do? I find myself crying every time I find that he’s been looking at these other women because I wish he’d look at me that way…
“My fiancee wants me to leave my job and move”
My fiancée has been a teacher for 10 years now and is really frustrated because she feels stagnant in her career. She thinks she hasn’t advanced because she’s followed me around – first to a two-year MBA program where she taught at two different schools and now to a new city where I got a new job.
She really doesn’t enjoy this city and she’s had to start over at a new school again. She sees me take on a leadership role at my company and told me today that she resents it because she feels she can’t get traction anywhere, since she has to start over each year. Continue reading
“My ex and I are still in love”
My ex and I are still in love…five years after the breakup. We have both been in serious relationships since then but reach out to each other every few months to let the other know our feelings haven’t changed.
We now live in different states and have our own friends and careers, making getting back together very difficult. The unwillingness to let each other go is preventing us from completely committing to new relationships and causes insecurity in our new partners. What should we do?
