My spouse has been working out tremendously over the last 6 months. She looks great, feels great. Great! So today she is on Facebook and notices that one of the bodybuilders she has been following, and had done routines that he designed, is in our city at another gym. She posts to his Facebook to “come to Anytime Fitness tomorrow at 7:00 am to work out” with heart emojis at the end. WTF. Then she gets mad at me for getting upset!

That is pretty flirty, but speaking as guy who’s currently training for a bodybuilding competition, you can definitely get sucked into the fitness lifestyle. And when you do, the pro’s are kind of your celebrities. So honestly, she might just be a bit starstruck.
If the way she posted that annoys you, I’d say to explain how it makes you feel. But don’t be confrontational about it. And don’t blow it out of proportion. Because this is your issue, not hers.
Or put yourself in her shoes and think about how you would act if you found out your favorite celebrity is going to be in town, and you may actually get to meet them in person. Because that’s probably what she’s feeling right now.
Point being, it’s really not worth getting upset over. Because if she’s like most people who are just getting into fitness, then she’s probably just excited to hear that someone she follows is going to be at her gym.
