“Is his housemate more than ‘just a friend'”?

Hello.

I have quite some predicaments with my boyfriend at the moment. He lives in a student house where he shares the facilities with 6 other housemates. One of these housemates, a girl, is pretty close to him. They like to tease each other and to mess around, which I find normal, but I also notice that sometimes it is a bit concerning how they interact. She is a nice girl, but I get jealous sometimes when they tease each other and I wonder if this is right for me to do.

I also notice that my boyfriend goes to a certain length to help her when she is having problems. He would even ask his mother/family to help her out when she needs some help. Continue reading

“Torn between believing he is interested in me or not”

I’m 16; a high school student, inexperienced with relationships and boys. I mean I have some, such as my first kiss (at 13) and “hooking up” (making out) on a cruise when I was 14. Nothing else happened, until now. This boy (also 16) added me on Instagram and Snapchat and we started talking. It went great, we had similar interests such as sports and dancing. He was also really funny. I learnt that he loves kids which was something I took note on. He even sent me a video of him playing with his niece. He bought his mom shoes for her birthday recently too. He seemed nice, caring AND met all the standards I looked for in a boy. One day he asked me if “we could chill at his house”. Continue reading

“My boyfriend and I want to move to Germany after college”

I am a 19 year old college student who is about to be done with my first year at a community college, and my 20 year old boyfriend of 3 years will be done with his second year at the same community college. We have decided that we would like to further our education in a European country, perhaps Germany, where there are Masters programs taught in English.

Instead of moving back to the United States after we are done with college, we may want to stay and continue living in Europe, and figure out our lives together there. So far we are looking into smaller city universities in Germany like Freiburg, Schiller, and Hochschule for instance. We’re not really into the partying scene, more athletic nature lovers. Is there any advice anyone can give me on this? Where do I even start? Is this possible? Can we live there after college? If we want to move back, is the degree worth the same in the U.S? Can I bring my cat? What’s the average yearly cost of living in Germany?

“How do I tell him without him getting the wrong idea?”

I’m a high school student and I’m best friends with this guy who is two years younger than me. We met and started talking in November last year. We chatted everyday and bonded really well. We liked the same things and made jokes together.

Around December he told me that he liked me. At that time I was really scared of telling him that I liked him back so I friend zoned him. He said it was okay and that we would still be friends. My parents told me that I’m only allowed to have a relationship when I’m in college. I totally agree with them but what if I just wanted to let him know that I like him but not have a relationship or anything? How do I tell him without him getting the wrong idea?
