I want to know if it is possible that a casual fling can turn into a serious relationship? I’ve been casually seeing this guy for 3 months now, and the first few weeks he said that he would like to have a girlfriend, but he just doesn’t have time because of work. Could it be that maybe it’s just an excuse?

A casual fling can turn into a relationship … if both parties are into it.
A person can be super-busy, but still make time for someone … if they really want to be with them.
On the other hand, being “too busy” for a significant other is also the easiest excuse when you’re really not into someone. So I’d say to tread carefully, because the signs are not in your favor.
