Hi – Just seeking some advice on texting!
I’m 15 months single after being in a long-term relationship for 17 years. So when I was single in the past, texting was not a thing, and I never had a pager, hence my lack of prowess at the moment.
Anyway, I met a guy in another city (a city I visit frequently) and we had a wonderful night (not all the bases, but some of them!) and we left it at me texting him the next time I’m in town. I’d like to send him a fun/flirty text to let him know he’s still on my mind, but I don’t know how to keep it light, or if texting him before my next visit is even wise.
Possibly prudent, he and I are both 40.

How fun! So you’re getting into a totally different dating culture than when you last visited- that can be pretty overwhelming. Hang on and enjoy the ride 🙂
Do you have any friends that you consider role models in the dating arena? Even if they are taken now, if they have been on dates in the last several years texting has likely played a role. I’d chat with them a bit to see if they have some input.
