“Have I permanently lost interest in having intimate relationships?”

I am a 45 year-old, divorced, heterosexual male. Lately I am satisfied watching 10 minutes of porn and jerking off. I have lost interested in all the work involved with dating and trying to find a meaningful relationship. Is this is a short term problem or is this who I have become for the rest of my life?

    Are you sure you’re not depressed? An uncharacteristic loss of sexual drive and desire for intimacy can be a symptom of depression. Worth speaking to you GP about.

    I am only 29, but I am in a similar boat. I just ended a relationship because I was so emotionally out of it. Could have cared less whether we were intimate or not. Don’t have much advice for you other than you’re not alone
