I have light brown hair with blonde highlights. I have brown eyes. I have been a single mom for the last 3 years to my son who is 9. I have a rat terrier dog. I have a varity of hobbies. I will try almost anything once.

[Too vague? I’m guessing brown hair with blonde highlights/brown eyes will show through in your picture. What are your hobbies and how long have you been doing them? What do you like to do in your free time? And for the love of God, “I will try anything once” is much too cliche. Maybe it can work in a more descriptive personal summary but it just makes it seem like you can’t describe anything else about yourself. What type of cheesy TV shows do you like? What are your favorite restaurants? Do you exercise? Is this the city you were born in? If not, tell us where you hail from! I think a more descriptive profile will nab you at least some more specific guys (“She loves Cajun food? I’m from Nawlins!”) than “I will try anything once” will.
[Agree with Maracuya. Loose the physical decription and focus on what actually makes you you.
[I also agree with maracuya.
As for “trying anything once”…what would you try? What are things you wouldn’t try? I mean, are you a person who is always seeking out new adventures? Are you open to new things? What are the limits of that?
What ARE the variety of hobbies? Are you a craft person, a TV/movie buff? Do you do jigsaw puzzles or play in a mariachi band?
[“I will try almost anything once.” sounds a bit flirty & fun, but might attract crazy pervs who are looking for that one girl they can convince to do something kinky with some tin foil and a tennis racket.
I’ve never really seen eharmony so I can’t say what the norm is for giving out personal physical descriptions?
As for your son, I’d go with something more like “I have a 9 year old boy whom I adore”
I think it’s assumed if you’re on eharmony that you’re single, no need to go into specifics about how many years.
